Reviews
A small picture book artist's art museum located in a quiet residential area. U can feel the author's life of loving children who can express the difference between an 8 month old and a 1 year old baby. The modest atelier from that time remains and is well worth a visit. U can also drink tea while reading a picture book, so U can spend a relaxing time in a small museum.
Nice little museum with four main rooms displaying the works of two creators of children's books. Mostly paintings, but a little library with many editions and a room that reproduces or perhaps is the original room where one of them worked.
I admit I was there because of special admission for seniors on today's holiday, but it's worth a four-star rating.
Man, what a treasure. Kind of far, but a pretty place. Staff is nice and I bought a ton of postcards. I shall return!

We didn't have much time to see all the exhibition halls, but the Chihiro exhibition was great. There is a museum shop and a cafe. The atmosphere was so great that we de decided to come again next time. The staff were very kind to let us enter even 15 minutes before closure.
Lovely museum, went for the architecture and stsyed longer for the exhibition!
